When we sit and enjoy the social garden activities an attractive new deck offers, we are typically unaware of the decking sub-structure if it is doing its job properly.

Getting your wooden decking secure and level is often dependent on the time and care taken to prepare the ground and frame to give the decking a firm and long lasting footing. Take a look at the adjacent photos to see what I mean. The decking substructure is invisible of course once it's covered in planks but mistakes made at this fundamental stage of the project can be time consuming and expensive to rectify later.  Further, an insecure footing could put the user at risk of injury should something come adrift, particularly true of overhead structures like pergolas.

I build decking and pergolas for my clients with the same care and attention to detail as I build my own.  I take a pride in making your garden makeover very special.
